Flag Hoisting
ध्वजारोहण – झंडा फहराना (नीचे से ऊपर उठाना)
(To raise the flag on a pole from the ground or lower position, usually tied and then opened at the top)
The Prime Minister hoisted the national flag at the Red Fort. (प्रधानमंत्री ने लाल किले पर राष्ट्रीय ध्वज फहराया।)
Flag Unfurling
ध्वज अनावरण – झंडा खोलना (पहले से ऊपर बंधा हुआ खोलना)
(To open/display a flag that is already at the top of the pole, usually folded and tied)
The President unfurled the flag during the Republic Day parade. (राष्ट्रपति ने गणतंत्र दिवस परेड के दौरान ध्वज का अनावरण किया।)
